简介：Susie Suh唱的的现代民谣摇滚风格“Shell”， 很有才华的创作女歌手。
一个韩裔美籍女孩，自幼有着要成为音乐家的梦想，年仅二十的她决心休学，独自带着吉他在咖啡屋、地铁等地方献唱，并把遭遇和心情写进了自己的歌里。但“喜欢唱歌的东方女孩”得到的不是称赞，更多的是嘲笑。但越是这样，她就越醉心于演唱事业。她干脆拿掉麦克风清唱。至少在演唱方面她不想输给任何人。在三餐不继的贫困、歧视、不安中，她依靠着吉他度过了4年。她的努力终于得到了回报。
索尼Epic唱片公司在2005年4月推出了讲述她的人生故事的首张专辑。专辑的名字就叫《Susie Suh》，是她的名字。《纽约时报》把这位东方新人歌手与诺拉·琼斯等爵士乐歌手相提并论。该报称赞说：“丰富而沙哑的嗓音和旋律非常有说服力地表现出了对爱情的渴望。”
