Jeff Abel，因艺名Excision而著名，是加拿大制作人、DJ。
Excision经常与加拿大制作人Datsik和Downlink合作，与其合作的还有来自荷兰的制作人Dion Timmer。他的音乐以氛围音乐及简约的打击乐器为主。他是Rottun Recordings唱片公司的创始人。2004年后逐渐活跃起来，2007年首发作品。每年的第三季度发行混音专辑《Shambhala》。他也因其贝斯的巡演而出名。
Abel创办了另一家唱片公司Destroid Music，由此公司发行了数字专辑，该专辑由Excision自己完成，特邀了许多其他的歌手，其中包括Downlink、Space Laces、Far Too Loud、Bassnectar和Ajapai。另一首单曲《Get Stupid》由Excision ＆ Space Laces共同演唱，发行于2013年12月。Destroid Music公司还有许多作品要发布。
从艺历程：童年时期的Jeff梦想成为一名古生物学家。不过，受Prodigy等乐队的影响对电子音乐产生兴趣，于2004年成为了一名DJ，并给自己起了艺名“Excision”。
2005年，Excision放弃了自己在不列颠哥伦比亚大学的商学课程，以追求他的音乐生涯。

2008年加入了Shambhala Music Festival，并在每年的第三季度发布一张免费的Shambhala Mixtape。2011年，Excision在加拿大知名DJ Deadmau5的唱片公司Mau5trap发布了他的第一张录音室专辑《X Rated》。
2012年初，Excision与他的同行好友Liquid Stranger和Lucky Date在北美开启了名为“X Tour”的巡演活动。并在同年与Downlink，KJ Sawka合作成立了“Destroid”乐队。
2013年11月15日，Excision在美国科罗拉多州布鲁姆菲尔德县的1stBank Center推出了一个25万瓦的音响系统，用于当地的电子音乐活动。该活动除Excision外还有著名的B2B Funtcase和Cookie Monsta，以及Deltron 3030，Brillz，Ill.Gates和科罗拉多州当地的双人组合Robotic Pirate Monkey等。
从2014年1月开始，Excision在Dirtyphonics和Ill.Gates的支持下开启了覆盖北美地区名为“Executioner”的巡演活动。这一次，他从PK Sound带来了一个新的15万瓦音响系统。
